Model/philosophy: WonderWell, a first-class private early learning school, will embrace emergent curriculum and the Reggio Emilia philosophy of early childhood education, which originated in northern Italy. Its mission is to inspire each child’s innate curiosity and instill a deep love of learning. The school will recruit, and, most notably, retain, the highest quality educators who share its mission and vision.
Special features: WonderWell currently is being constructed and will be a 16,061 square foot facility featuring an open-air courtyard (with planting beds for each classroom’s Farmers Market) shielded from the public eye. The school will also have a state-of-the-art security system and specially designed, noninvasive observation rooms for parents, teachers, and staff to utilize.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3pm, with before and after-school care options 7:30–8:30am and 3–5pm each day. Follows AISD calendar.
