Position Overview
Cavalli Ridge Academy is seeking a passionate, student-centered educator to serve as our Middle School Core Teacher for a small cohort of girls in grades 6–8. This position operates within a collaborative job-share model, with the Core Teacher leading morning academic instruction and partnering with an afternoon Project-Based Learning (PBL) instructor. Responsibilities include teaching mathematics and integrated humanities, including English Language Arts, science literacy, social studies, and writing. With class sizes intentionally limited to approximately 8–10 students, the teacher will provide highly personalized instruction, daily academic support, and meaningful learning experiences that help students build confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations. The ideal candidate values relationship-based teaching, differentiated instruction, collaboration, and helping every student reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Teach mathematics and integrated humanities to a combined 6th–8th grade classroom.
Deliver differentiated instruction that supports diverse learners and multiple grade levels.
Provide daily academic support, intervention, and enrichment.
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Collaborate with the Project-Based Learning (PBL) instructor and school team.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Current teaching certification from Texas or another U.S. state required.
Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learners and academic abilities.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
Experience in teaching PBL is desirable but not required.
Enthusiasm for working in a small school setting and contributing to a growing school community.
